Today's Meditation

My Bill of Rights

I have the right to be treated with respect.

I have the right to say no and not feel guilty.

I have the right to experience and express my feelings.

I have the right to take time for myself.

I have the right to change my mind.

I have the right to ask for what I want.

I have the right to ask for information. I have the right to make mistakes.

I have the right to do less than I am humanly capable of.

I have the right to feel good about myself.

I have the right to act only in ways that promote my dignity and self-respect as long as others are not violated in the process.

I do feel good about myself today! I love the growing season. The porch is my garden area and below in the yard is Ken's. I have painted some of my pots and I also have made some Rock Paintings that will be coming soon of ladybugs and names for my spices.  I still need to seal them with 2x spray paint.
Just doing two things - Bike riding and being out in the yard gardening or painting sure does help my depression. I even manage to lose 5 lbs which have brought my blood sugars down some. I am hanging out at 150-160 now and not 200. I can do better than that - especially if I keep this up.  I don't have to feel guilty about buying those e-bikes.
