When I am in the selfish mode. I am often fearing not getting my needs met. I place my dependence on other people or just myself. God says he will meet my needs if I look towards him. It is hard to do sometimes but I know he does provide because every time I trust him and do his will instead of my own, things go a lot better for me. When I place my dependence on other people. I am often disappointed when I find out they are human and make mistakes too. Working the 12 Steps helped me and showed me how to live in God's will. I thank the program for that.
