Step 2 Came to Believe
Jesus said to him 'if you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes” -MARK 9:23
Have you ever watched toddlers learning how to walk? They take a step or two and then fall down hard on their bottoms. They sometimes cry and sometimes laugh, but they always get back up and try again.
Why is it that the older we get, when we fall down hard, we tend to stay down longer and even sit there feeling sorry for ourselves?
Oh, to have the faith of that toddler, to just take one at a time, and when we fall, to get back up and try again and again.
God offers us that faith-faith that can perform miracles-faith that when we are down we can reach up to him, and he will give us the strength to try again, All we have to do is believe in him. He tells us that faith will move mountains.
Lois struggled hard trying to push Jerry into treatment. Jerry was rooted as firmly as a mountain, but when Lois let go and let God work in Jerry’s life, the mountain moved. The miracle of Jerry’s recovery could not have happened without the faith in God’s ability
The grace of God allows us to pick ourselves up, dust ourselves off, and start over again.

Here we are moving again, and I was for sure that I was finished with the moving bit. I have a brother and a sister who stayed in place in one home but that wasn’t me. Generally, those moves were made because of some difficulty I was having at the time. The last move devastated me and I ended up in ER with serve back pain. Each move was getting more and more painful. One thing I do have though, is I have faith that God will give me the strength to do what we need to do. If I am struggling too hard, I truly need to look toward God. He will give me a solution to my problem. It will work out in his plan. I just have to be open and willing to it.
